No one loves a party or social gathering more than St. Andrew’s! Jesus gathered people around meals and good conversation, and we believe the best way to know and love one another is through gatherings large and small that promote community and build friendships. Here are some of the ways we gather.

  • Sunday Coffee Hour: Volunteers provide light refreshments to accompany the church provided coffee after the 10:15 a.m. service.
  • Special Receptions: Volunteers are needed to help with food, set-up and clean-up for receptions held at special occasions throughout the year such as after Evensongs, funerals, and other parish events.
  • The Breakfast Brigade: On special occasions throughout the year, the brigade provides a delicious and festive breakfast between the two worship services.
  • Dinner Conversation Groups: As a means of getting to know one another better, small groups gather for a meal either at someone's home or a restaurant and share in conversation. It's that simple. Break bread. Make friends. Love one another.
  • The Men’s Group of Saint Andrew’s is a vibrant group of all generations that enjoy getting to know one another and sharing their stories of faith. They do through social activities at local breweries, helping the church in service activities, as well as occasional speakers from the parish and the community for breakfast.
  • Women of the Way, a gathering for women of all ages, meets the third Tuesday every other month to discuss a book. Selections have included many genres and styles from fiction to non-fiction and secular to faith-based.
  • Women of St. Andrew’s: A fellowship and service organization for all the women of the parish, this group awards grants for church and community needs and sponsors various special events like the Annual Parish Bazaar.
  • The Church Mouse is a gift shop housed at St. Andrew’s and operated by the Women of St. Andrew’s (WSA). Come find treasures at low prices that support the outreach operations of the WSA.
  • Savor the Moments meets throughout the year to offer adults over 55 a free lunch and time to know one another. Often themed around holidays this group blends social time to meet new friends with informative and engaging speakers to learn something new. We’ve even had a piñata!

Additionally, we have taken parish trips to Tides baseball games and local festivals as well as put on parish-wide events such as our Annual Chili Dinner and Gift Swap and “Christmas Eve-Eve, Low-Stakes, Store-bought Potluck Dinner.”
