Weddings

Christian marriage is a solemn and public covenant between two people in the presence of God. At St. Andrew’s we offer weddings for couples of all genders. The couple will work with a priest of the parish to plan their wedding and ensure all canonical requirements are met, including pre-marital counseling sessions. As such, weddings must be planned a minimum of six months ahead of time.

At St. Andrew’s, we require that at least one member of the couple be or become an active member of the parish. Pastoral consideration may be given, at the discretion and availability of the clergy, to those who grew up at St. Andrew’s but now live at a distance. Those couples will need to arrange for pre-marital sessions with the clergy of their current church.
